Família em tempos reais: proposta de exposição no Palácio Nacional da Ajuda: o "vídeo mapping" como ferramenta curatorial

Abstract

"Família em tempos reais" apresenta uma proposta de exposição temporária a ter lugar no Palácio Nacional da Ajuda, exposição esta de fotografias do século XIX que mostram a família real portuguesa nos reinados de D. Luís I e D. Carlos I. Este projeto visa o desenvolvimento de um novo modelo expositivo de curadoria no que toca a acervos de museu, através do recurso da ferramenta "video mapping", uma técnica recente que tem tido uma grande difusão a nível nacional e internacional. Este projeto final de mestrado procura justificar a pertinência de uma exposição neste formato assim como encontrar os caminhos mais indicados para que seja posto em prática com sucesso, pelo que inclui todas as fases desde a escolha do acervo a ser utilizado, até à reflexão e decisão dos segmentos do público-alvo, passando igualmente pelo orçamento de custos e o seu respetivo financiamento.

"Family in royal times" presents the proposal of a temporary exhibition taking place in National Palace of Ajuda, comprising photographs of the 19th century that showcase the Portuguese royal family during the reign of D. Luís I and D. Carlos I. This project aims at the development of a new curating model in museums through the use of video mapping, a recent technique that has been growing in popularity, both national and internationally. This Master's final project intends to justify the relevance of an exhibition conceived under this format, and also find the best ways in which to develop it successfully. It covers the process of selecting the photographs, the segmentation and targeting of the different audiences, as well as the budget and financing of the exhibition.
